Emaguard has emamectin benzoate that acts by stomach ingestion and contact mode of action. It acts by stimulating the release of acids (glutamate-gated chloride channels) that inhibit neurotransmitters, causing flaccid paralysis in the insect within hours of ingestion, which stops feeding and dies.
Why EMAGUARD 57 ME?
• Unique mode of action and prolonged activity, avoiding cross-resistance with other insects
• Rapidly degrades within hours on the crop foliar surface, resulting in a shorter residual and shorter PHI period.
• It is very economical due to its low dosage.
• Insect life cycle effectiveness against adults, nymphs, and larvae.
• A good resistance management tool as an alternative with other insecticides.
